PHOENIX Consortium at THE 3R LÄND Conference in Tübingen

Members of the PHOENIX consortium gathered at THE 3R LÄND Conference, held March 24–26, 2026, at the University of Tübingen, Germany. Organized by the 3R-Center Tübingen and Prof. Peter Loskill, the conference brought together leading experts to discuss the latest advances in organoids, organ-on-chip, and in silico models for reducing animal testing. Marco Rasponi delivered the opening talk of the "Innovation in Organ-on-Chip" session, and Victoria Rabsiun Aramburu (BiomimX) presented on human 3D cardiac organ-on-chip as advanced preclinical models. PHOENIX partners NMI, MCS, and BiomimX presented a poster showcasing the first results of the project on next-generation cardiac and neuro-muscular organs-on-chip. Our PI Paola Occhetta also presented a poster that sparked inspiring exchanges of ideas and insights, while PhD student Giacomo Cretti presented on vascularized tumor-vessel crosstalk on-chip, with results obtained within the MUSA project (PNRR). The event was a valuable opportunity for the consortium partners to meet and strengthen their collaboration.
